You might want to try Star Office 7 - It's much faster IMHO They have an evaluation version that last until the end of December, but schools still get the big discount. $25 for all you machines to cover the cost of the media

I am running Star Office in roughly 80 machines at our high school and have only had some minor problems with things converting correctly from Micro Office to Star. I am still running Micro Office in our Elementary (change over next summer) and our business lab along with administrative machines. I would like to state that more people need to email text attachments as RTF instead of doc, I am especially directing this to the Department of Ed. Finally, I have been fighting the Welchia virus in our elementary for about 1 week now and we ended up having to install a new server during that time as well. I am learning many things about XP (most I dislike) but I figure my board should never complain about the cost of virus software because the install of a new server, setup and virus fight has cost us around $2500!
