Midwest has done a lot of Projector projects like
this. They carry Auditorium projectors with interchangeable lenses so the
projector can be put about any distance from screen. Midwest consistently
is on the AV-Co-op vendor list with projectors.

We installed a new lighting and sound system in our auditorium and want
to add a projection device also. We want to drop this down from ceiling
about 12 feet and project to a drop down screen (approx. 12 x 12)
from about 25 feet away.
I am sure some of you have done this to your auditorium and I wondering
if you could help me out with a vendor or solution. I have visited
with Rick's some on this but they told me they have not had much experience
with this type of projection but is looking into it for us.
