Title: Fwd: Iowa Educators Consortium - NetOp Q & A

The Iowa Educators Consortium is currently promoting a statewide sale on NetOp computer lab management software. Listed below are some of the frequent questions the company has received from interested schools.

NETOP SCHOOL SOFTWARE QUESTIONS:

QUESTION 1:
When you say "Student Licenses" are you referring to each student?
ANSWER 1:
No, "Student" is the module name we gave to our software.  The Student License goes on the particular student accessible workstation that you want NetOp and the Teacher License goes on the teaching console.

QUESTION 2:
How is your software licensed?
ANSWER 2:
NetOp School Teacher License: A license is required for each computer only for the instructors computer in the computer lab (typically one). NetOp School Student License: A license is required for each computer that
is designated NetOp School Student (typically 10 or more).

NETOP REMOTE CONTROL QUESTIONS:

QUESTION 1:
How is your software licensed?
ANSWER 1:
The NetOp Remote Control Guest Licenses are per machine OR per user.  If per user, the wording is as follows: "For each license you must designate a "User". Only a designated "User" is allowed to load and use the "Software".  The "software may be loaded on any "PC"." The NetOp Remote Control Host Licenses are per machine - these would be designated NetOp Remote Control Hosts.

Please contact me if you have more questions.  I would like to continue these FAQ emails to help everyone understand our product even more.  Also, if you know of anyone that I should contact, I would appreciate your referral.

Have a great day and week!  Elaine
