The "Spam Pavilion" was sponsored by Mail-Filters http://mail-filters.com
all vendors displaying products were based on this OEM solution. On that
note I was expecting to see a lot more solutions. Mail-Filters guarantees
95% of all spam eliminated with less than a 1 in 100,000 false positive rate
"Or It's Free". Mail-Filters works more like a anti-virus company, who
releases spam definitions several times an hour. Mail Filter offers three
products themselves, SpamCure is a Spam Gateway, SpamRepellent is a
anti-spam service, and Star Engine SDK allows other companies build products
with their technology.

One such product is MailFounry http://www.mailfoundry.com This company clams
it will filter 99% of the spam threat while leaving 100% of your legitimate
email alone. Based on Sun Microsystems UltraSPARC hardware it is designed
to process 1 million messages per day. The product sheet talked about
Anti-Virus filtering, but I don't believe it will be available until June.

These are just a few of the many vendors we talked with. The show itself
was about half the size it was 2 years ago. Each vendor I asked about the
show was excited about the turnout of this years show. One vendor made the
comment that N+I has done a great job adjusting to the economy and after
they realized they would not be a huge show. Next years show will be moved
to the Mandalay Bay convention center at the south end of the strip.
Personal observations I believe this has been one of the best shows I have
been to. A lot more quality vendors without some of the fluff.

If you have questions about any of the products discussed Jason or myself
will be happy to talk.
