[info-tech] Star Schools Grant

We will be meeting to discuss the Star Schools grant for elementary and/or middle school buildings on two occasions. If your district has never received a Star Schools grant, this may be an opportunity for you to receive $25,000 in technology associated to connecting your building to the internet, ICN and/or supporting your CSIP and student achievement goals.

We will discuss the focus of the grant, the way the grant is scored, relate it to your CSIP goals and provide you with examples of winning entries from past recipients.

We will meet at the following times and locations:
Wed., Sept. 8 from 10:00-12:00 in the Okoboji Elementary media center located at 708 N. Ave.� (Ph. 712-338.2458)
or
Tuesday, Sept. 14 from 1:00-3:00 in Fort Dodge at ICCC, Voc.-Tech Bldg. Room 215
