The Iowa Star Schools Project is pleased to announce that competitive "connectivity site contracts" for public elementary schools (PK-8) will be available during the 2004-2005 school year. The application process will begin in the fall of 2004.

These site contracts will fund items such as:

  • High speed connections to the school building (external),
  • High speed connections within the school building (internal),
  • Hardware and/or software that supports connectivity,
  • Hardware and/or software that supports student produced materials,
  • Staff development to support use of connectivity.
