It appears that there are no set standards as to what is required to be designated as a Compatible or a Remanufactured Cartridge. Our Ink and Toner vendors sometimes have been bidding the same cartridge in both categories. We also found that the ink and toner industry now calls these "After Market" ink or toner cartridges... it isn't an Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) product so, everything else is after market. "After market' is now how we will advertise "Compatible or Remanufactured" ink and toner. Brown and Saenger is our Spring vendor of OEM ink, After market Ink, and After market Toner. Academic Supplier is our Spring vendor for OEM Toner. The AV Co-op Catalog can not list every ink or toner cartridge. If you can not find the one you are looking for please contact the appropriate vendor. The vendor will give you a co-op discount for cartridges that you need even though it is not listed in our catalog... just let them know you are an IEC AV Co-op Customer.
