Now I remember reading about the core option, in a Technet mag, it had you adding services much like a linux box. Not my cup of tea.

I used just the Standard version. I haven't install the services or other features. Don't know if I want if running around on my network quite yet. It needs to be activated as well in the next three days. Using 2 gigs on a gateway m280. I'll do a little more poking around.
