Due to flooding situation in Cedar Rapids, I need to alert you to a possibility
that Iowa AEA Online web site might be unavailable with the same scenario
holding true for the IEC website.
Here is information from Jerry Cochrane as of 10:30 am this morning:
The Grant Wood building I am in is without electricity but is above the flood
levels. They are predicting that the main Grant Wood AEA office could have 2-3
feet of water in the main floor. They are closing the main building this
morning. Flood levels are expected to be four feet higher than ever recorded in
history. If the worse case scenario happens, our servers will be down, which
means the Iowa AEA Online website will be down.
If you are planning on utilizing one of the Iowa AEA Online databases during
the flooding, I suggest having the direct URLs to the separate databases as an
alternative:
