I had the same thoughts. He assured me this was the case. However, I guess maybe we should all call, put the various stories we get together, and then maybe we can figure out the real deal. I am as confused as everyone else, and I can only go by what they guy on the phone told me. If he is wrong, I am screwed I guess, but I will not go down quietly.

He said that the proof I submitted the first time around should be enough. They are just doing the VLs purchased straight from MS first. They have rounds of claims lettered. A,B,C. The Select Licenses are in round C which hasn't happened yet according to the guy I talked with. Apparently Licenses purchased under the Select Program were not supposed to be listed under the Volume License section even though they are Volume Licenses. The reason I received a letter saying Microsoft could not find any Volume License records is because all of our volume licenses were purchased through someone else under the Select Agreement(i.e. Software Plus), therefore, all of our Volume Licenses will be on a second report yet to come. He had no ETA on that report. I hope this information might help someone else, as I was on hold for about 1 hour. Again, they raise my hopes. However, I am bracing for yet more disappointment.
