I use a Panasonic Wireless projector. There are two big drawbacks

1) 802.11b/g is not fast enough yet to do a good job at full motion video. It
is fine for PowerPoint and web browsing, but if you try to watch any video the
frame refresh rate is pretty low. At the projector shoot-outs we have yet to
see a 802.11n wireless projector or any other technology that gets around this.

2) In a traveling situation it is darn difficult to connect to the projector
and the network at the same time. My projector seems to be the norm. The
projector has a default SSID it wants to connect to. (Panasonic). Wireless
adaptors can only connect to one wireless network at a time, so it is a choice
between wireless projector or network. The projector does have a custom
configuration and if the projector is always going to be in your building you
can configure the ssid to match your internal network. There is a small
joystick and a button you have to use to navigate a on-screen keyboard. Once
set it is ok, but it is a pain to set.

It would be nice for a projector company to build in Auto-Network detect
feature, but none of the wireless projector vendors have this option yet.
