We are using Trouble Ticket Express here as well. Last summer we broke down and paid for some of the options. We added File Attachment, Answer Library, and EMail submission support (have not implemented yet) All for less than $60.
What I like about TTX, it is simple to use. When a ticket gets submitted both Jason and myself get notified via Cell phone of the new ticket. Once one of us take ownership the owner gets a new messages every time the ticket is updated. I use the sort option "Hot" where I can see all the unassigned tickets, and tickets waiting for my response. If I had a complaint it is that TTX is written in PERL. Because of this I have had difficulties with initial installs getting the scripts to work. Once running though it is rock solid.
