We don't let our people know, as they would expect us to be around
fixing it before their e-mail arrived.

See you at the ICN, well I won't, but I will be there with you.

Subject: [info-tech] Vulnerabilities

I always debate with the voices in my head whether to let students know
of vulnerabilities such as today's Zero-Day with PowerPoint. I always
let staff know of such things, but I have not, as of yet, informed
students. I guess I fear the ones that would take it as a challenge to
download such a file and exploit it within the network. What are others'
thoughts on this?

I will be here until my ICN session is done ON FRIDAY AFTERNOON! Who
thought that was a good idea? So, feel free to reply well into the
afternoon. :-|
