I would suggest getting a mimio in as a evaluation unit. We quickly found that depending on where the teacher was standing/resting their other hand, it affected the reception of the mimio pen. It also seemed like we were calibrating and recalibrating the board when it came to working with the money and other digital manipulatives. It was very impressive. We have been using tablets for several years. I think we are going to purchase a few whiteboards of some type for next year. Anybody have any horror stories about any brands/models/ What are some of the best features that I should be looking for? Jeremy seems to like them at Fort Dodge. They are one of the authorized dealers for Iowa.
