Is your business manager trying to edit the global directory or just send an
email from it?
SmarterMail will auto-complete from all visible address books, so if you
start typing a name in the "To" box there should be a drop-down with names
that meet the spelling. You can also click on the "To", "CC', or 'BCC'
links to open your address book. At the bottom of that pop-up there will be
a drop-down to select other address books. There you can check the user or
users you want to send messages to.

Anyone had success with the global contact list and being able to send
from it? Our business manager said she only has read access now and
can't do that anymore. I haven't played with the feature, so I wasn't
sure if anyone is more familiar with it?
