We, too, pretty much have everything on a central office board
secretary computer--using Word. Updates/revisions are usually taken
from IASB site --something like Policy Primer (?)-- either because of
a scheduled update rotation, or based on updates shared with whomever
about the need to update policy. (My example would be all the school
library required policies (no longer media centers) that were
mandatory updates and additions.)
The Google docs would be a nice "storage" site -- and easily accessible!

Are any of you using some amazing piece of software to manage and
update board policies (if not what are you doing). I have been

1) Anything that is in the world when you're born is normal and
ordinary and is just a natural part of the way the world works.
2) Anything that's invented between when you're 15 and 35 is new
and exciting and revolutionary and you can probably get a career in
it.
3) Anything invented after you're 35 is again the natural order of
things
