Do not run a proxy. Cannot get to web sites, even ones on internal network, by IP. Should mention that this is not limited to IE.

How about a DNS issue. Can it get to Google by IP http://208.67.216.231/? --Jason From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Tim Limbert Sent: Wednesday, May 05, 2010 2:15 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [info-tech] net access issue Need a little help from the experts: My Windows XP clients are authenticating through Open Directory on our Mac server. I have one machine that refuses to access the internet when a domain user is logged in. If I log in as the local admin user, I get on the net just fine. If I log in as a domain user, it logs in just fine, and applications run fine, but it has no internet access. Doing an ipconfig shows that it's talking to the domain server, and has an IP address. None of my other Windows clients are having troubles. Any suggestions? --- Timothy A.
