Lisa - There is information on how to become a Google Certified Teacher on the
Google website...just "google" it! The online application would involve a
list of the teacher's units/presentations that show outstanding technology
integration...especially that involving Google Apps. There are a limited
number of teachers accepted into this at any one time. The Google Trainer work
I am completed must be redone every year. All that being said, if your
district (or an individual or two) has an interest in this, probably one of the
earliest things to do would be to see if the entire building has some interest
in setting up the Google domain...this would change ur email access, which you
may know about... Scott Fosseen is a good resource on the schools/district
using Google Apps/Domain info. Let me know where/how you proceed...perhaps I
can provide some training on these areas. Dorothy

If your school has a Google domain and uses many of the Google Apps...or if you
have an interest in learning more about this... consider joining the Google
Groups called: IA Google Apps Group to receive postings of additional
information. You can join this at:
http://groups.google.com/group/iowa-google-apps-group

On Thursday, August 26th, the first of 4 webinars about Google Apps deployment
will be hosted from 1-2:30. See the Google Groups site listed above for
further information.
