Hi! Running FreeBSD here for our mail servers running Cyrus!. Cyrus rocks!!.
I suppose it's code has been perhaps, in some manner "more" written for glibc (gnu fork of libc normally used by Linux distros) than libc, because for instance they never call strlcpy and always do strncpy (for instance).
