You may even want to just rebuild with the patch, using "enable-static"
and "disable-shared", so to obtain a static squatter pacthed, without
the need to reinstall all the package. You may just put that static
binary renamed somewhere in your sistem and use it instead of the original.

thank you very much for the patch. It seems to work. At least mailboxes
that were impossible to index (due to segfault) are indexed now. And the
used space is also much smaller.
