Hi. I am having a problem where the sasl library is ignoring my
Sendmail.conf and consequently sendmail itself says it has no
authentications, so any client after using starttls, sendmail is not
presenting any authentications. I verified this behavior using the
openssl client.
When I run saslauthd -v I get
saslauthd 2.1.28
authentication mechanisms: sasldb getpwent pam rimap shadow
vbut my Sendmail.conf says
pwcheck_method: saslauthd
allowanonymouslogin: 0
allowplaintext: 1
mech_list: EXTERNAL DIGEST-MD5 CRAM-MD5 LOGIN PLAIN
log_level: 5
How to fix?
