Hi,
"altnamespace" is from Cyrus 3.0 set to "on", I missed this change of
default value - I didn't set it in old imapd.conf, so on old was set to
"off".
I'm running now Cyrus imap 3.4, how safe is to change altnamespaces back
to "off" ?

but for sent email it persists for path:
/var/spool/imap/user/chose/INBOX/Sent Items
How is altnamespace set?
According to the place where the folder is in the file system, it
should be off.
Then try to reload the list of mailboxes in Outlook and set the
appropriate folder.
