Hi everyone
In the example of imapd.conf (cyrus 3.6.1) from Debian I got :
START {
# do not delete this entry!
recover cmd="/usr/sbin/cyrus ctl_cyrusdb -r"
# this is only necessary if idlemethod is set to "idled" in imapd.conf
#idled cmd="idled"
# this is useful on backend nodes of a Murder cluster
# it causes the backend to synchronize its mailbox list with
# the mupdate master upon startup
#mupdatepush cmd="/usr/sbin/cyrus ctl_mboxlist -m"
# this is recommended if using duplicate delivery suppression
delprune cmd="/usr/sbin/cyrus expire -E 3"
# this is recommended if caching TLS sessions
tlsprune cmd="/usr/sbin/cyrus tls_prune"
}
before when I'm using FreeBSD the delprune was in the EVENT section with
EVENTS {
# this is only necessary if using duplicate delivery suppression,
# Sieve or NNTP
delprune cmd="cyr_expire -E 3" at=0400
}
If I keep the delprune inside START section everytime I restart cyrus-imapd
it seem cyrus launch a cyr_expire on all mailbox and that's take a lot of
time and during this time I'm unable to login. After the cyr_expire end I'm
able to login without any issue.
Is that a normal behavior of cyrus ?
Regards
JAS
