This means that your search query expression is too complex, most likely 
because it grew exponentially when Cyrus internally converted the query 
expression to disjunctive normal form.

You might want to experiment tweaking the "search_normalisation_max" config 
option in imapd.conf to a value that's acceptable for your use case and 
hardware resources.
