It's a little strange to answer to my post for a question...anyway...

I manage courrier-imap/dovecot/cyrus, I can say cyrus is the best solution
I currently encounter. 

If I had to install my own server I will choose cyrus because I know the
three. But I'm not sure for one (or few) accounts it's worth the complexity. 

About complaint I've only one and it's not really against Cyrus, but the
Debian pkg is very old. After saying that it's working perfectly...so...
