style, you can enable the mailbox_legacy_dirs imapd.conf(5) option,
which defaults to off.
For me if worked well by enabling mailbox_legacy_dirs just before the
upgrade. I'm not sure what will happen if you turn it on after the
upgrade. Especially if you did recontruct, etc...
Fist I set all files to 600 and directories to 700 cyrus:mail
before starting cyrus I ran
su cyrus -C "/usr/sbin/cyrus ctl_cyrusdb -r"
I started cyrus
and ran
running su cyrus -c "/usr/lib/cyrus/bin/reconstruct -r -f "
I get al lot of error messages e.g.:
user.qmp.Drafts: failed to read index header
user.qmp.Drafts: System I/O error Permission denied
also all files cyrus.* have permisson cyrus:mail rw
WTF is going wrong?
I need urgent help
It may be looking for mailboxes in the "new" paths with uid.
