Hi,

We are using sql with --with-mysql on Cyrus 3.4 and are on plan to upgrade
to version 3.12.
We are setting up Mysql shared database for mboxlist_db and annotation_db
(due to our use of nfs for managing cyrus instances failover)

Indeed, we have low write throughput on these tables.
We have made many fixes and improvements in the code and would be happy to
share upstream if anybody else is interested

Regards,
