Hi All, Currently we utilise Cyrus on rocky8 (cyrus-imapd-3.0.7-28.el8_10.x86_64) for a small company with shared folders providing visbility across many GiB of shared correspondence. The vast majority of data is in the shared mailboxes with very little in user mailboxes. Users send from an client accounts shared mailbox and the responses are also moved to these folders. We're in the process of moving to the thunderbird mail client which provides the capability of server side searching and had thought that Xapian was the way to go.
However the manner in which Xapian has been implemented appears to be fundamentally incompatible with shared folders and only addresses the very narrow use case where it's a totally user focused system rather than an enterprise system.
