Job Description
Responsibilities
As a Software Tester, your responsibilities will include:

Building web applications with our tools.

Designing test plans and test cases.
-
Performing comprehensive tests.
-
Writing detailed and accurate bug reports in English.

Updating the test plan to keep track of the new developments.

Performing document analysis to identify possible inconsistencies between requirements and software (including technical documentation)
The Software Tester reports to the Testing Manager and works closely with the Developers and Technical Writers. This job is by no means a dead-end position. It will expose you to all phases of product/project development and represents the ideal entry point in order to advance your career as a Junior Programmer, Technical Support Engineer or another position of your choice within our company.
Requirements

Student in the last year at Faculty of Automatic Control and Computers or graduate in Computer Science or related field

Good knowledge of how the Internet works, especially regarding dynamic websites

Exceptional attention to detail and ability to recognize errors
-
Experience with Macromedia Dreamweaver (especially working with Server Behaviors) is a plus
-
Ability to understand business and functional requirements
-
Web scripting knowledge of PHP, ASP (VBScript or .NET), ColdFusion will be considered a plus.

Basic knowledge of SQL language and database servers (MySQL or PostgreSQL)

Strong English language skills

Good organizational, interpersonal, and written communication skills.

Good Microsoft Office and/or Open Office skills.

Grupul reuneste peste 1500 de studenti de la toate facultatile din UPB si este cel mai mare grup studentesc din ROMANIA. Grupul a fost creeat in dorinta de a reuni pe aceeasi lista de discutii membrii tuturor organizatiilor studentesti din Politehnica, reprezentantii studentilor in consilii si senate, sefi de camine dar si foarte multi studenti care nu fac parte din categoriile mentionate.

Consideram ca este necesara prezenta voastra pe acest grup pentru a creste gradul de informare si comunicare dintre studenti. Veti avea acces la schimbul de opinii, la preocuparile si la problemele studentilor. Speram ca va veti implica si veti participa la discutii.

Prin acesta initiativa urmarim dezvoltarea relatiilor interumane si profesionale in cadrul Universitatii POLITEHNICA din Bucuresti, cea mai mare universitate din ROMANIA (numar de studenti la zi).
