ESIB - the National Unions of Students in Europe is the umbrella organisation of 50 national unions of students from 37 countries and through these members represent over 10 million students. The aim of ESIB is to represent and promote the educational, social, economic and cultural interests of students at a European level towards all relevant bodies and in particular the European Union, Council of Europe and UNESCO.

On behalf of NSU, StL and ESIB I would like to welcome you all to Bergen and Norway on occasion of ESIB Board Meeting 48 (BM48). Prior to BM48, we will arrange a three day seminar, which we hope as many as possible get the chance to attend. We will provide accomodation from May 10 until May 17. The seminar and following BM48 take place just before the Bologna Summit, Conference of European Education Ministers on May 19-20.
