I suspect the spammer is using someone's mis-configured mail server.  He's 
probably no where near the back bone uu.net!  Guessing from the ip range he 
is using someone's dsl, cable or isdn box on uu.net This range of ip is 
usually associated with services like road runner or some other high 
bandwidth connection 63.22.97.158.

I've heard that you can snoop cable modems and capture usernames and 
password.  The spammer/hacker will probably cause the user to get kick off 
his account, then move on to the next unsuspecting victim.  Very seldom 
does a seasoned spammer send out that much spam from his own account unless 
he's a newbie.
