HI ALL,
i also have a problem with drive image,i had a problem with my hard drive and i
had to format my HD,when i tryed,i got errors saying that my partition was
different and it would kick me out,now my copy of drive image,came as part of
my computer package,it came loaded with win98,i already had win98 se,so i
loaded it on my pc,now i can't format and reload the basic files,and start over
new,i contected powerquest,thay say i did't buy my software from them so thay
will not give me support,i also contected COMPusa who i got the pc from thay
say it is not there software so, thay don't support it,so now i am left with a
computer i can't format,any idels??thanks for any help.
P.S.i have an p111,500mh,128meg ram,7.5gig hd.

I came across some interesting bugs with Drive Image 4 (DM) and Partition=
Magic 6 (PM)
I installed a new hard drive, winME and PM, and set up the partitions as I=
desired.
A few days later I installed a second hard disk and a iomega zip drive=
internal.
When I tried to run PM again, it said invalid partition tables. The book=
basically states that if that message comes I have to rebuilt the=
partitions and basically destroy all my data.
That is wrong. I unplugged the second hard disk and the zip drive and tried=
PM and it works fine without them.
I cannot believe the PM book does not mention that adding hardware can=
cause problems.
When I tried to install Drive Image with all the hardware installed, it too=
errored out saying that "the uninstaller cannot load" then it locked up...=
and again if I disconnected the second hard disk and the zip disk it=
installs just fine.
If I followed the book I would of lost all the data on my new drive. The=
book sucks!
