Anyone use Yahoo messenger?
This has happened twice in the past week. While online and the yahoo
messenger was active, a message pops up saying that you have been logged
off because you have logged on to your account from a different machine.
Possibilities:
1. Someone at yahoo techsupport is using my account.
2. It's a bug.
3. When I entered my account and password information in epassword
keeper,
it is being sent to someone at the company.
4. There is an exploit that allows hackers to rip your password.
5. My machine was hacked during the past week. Very unlikey they got
through the firewall though.
6. The government has everyone's password and is spying on you and
downloading copies of your email from free email sites like yahoo and
hotmail.
7. Someone at my isp has installed a sniffer and is sniffing passwords.
Anyone here use Yahoo? Have you seen this message before? The way I
understand it, this message only occurs if you login to your account from
another location then you are disconnected from the other computer.
I may not ever find out what is going on, but it would sure narrow it down=
if someone else is getting this same error message.
/Jay
