EditPlus -- not just a text editor.

Quickly becoming my most used program. Not free but cheap. I downloaded editplus a
few weeks ago and it's already made it to my startup folder. I don't see how I ever
worked without it. Techsupport answered my question in less than 24 hours by email.

EditPlus can replace the following:
web browser (uses ie components)
notepad
wordpad
Ms Word (if you use that turtle for a text editor)
Programmers Text Editor (html, txt, C, C+, vbs, .bat, etc)
Emacs if you use that
Dishwasher ;-)

and it's superior to any text editor I've used, and I've tried all I could find in
search of the best editor that would do what I want it to...

A unique feature is to strip all html from a .html file leaving a nice txt document,
strip leading or preceding spaces, etc. Save in Dos/Windows CrLf or Unix text format.
Also has syntax highlighting for different programming languages, and user created
stx file you can download separately for free. Send a document using MAPI and your
default mailer. Set it up as your default application for whatever text files, txt,
html source editor/viewer in IE Netscape or Opera, .c, .asm, etc...

If you do not want to spend ANY money, CetusWordPad is a nice replacement for WordPad
(aka write.exe), but it's nothing like EditPlus.
