I have Bearshare here at work. Napster is blocked from the University
where I work. This works reasonably well. It uses the gnutella servers,
limewire, gnotella, etc., so you're sharing with a lot of people. Only
thing I've found is that it doesn't have as much rare stuff as Napster, but
it's better than absolutely nothing at all, which is what I had here after
Scour Exchange shut down.
Napster still works for me at home (dial up 56k isp). File Navigator looks
like an interesting program, but if where you work, go to school, or your
service provider has blocked napster, File Navigator will not work. I just
tried it here, and it wouldn't let me register.
