That's what I did in January, ghost my drive, and it worked
great. I think most of us on home pc's just purchase one copy of
Windows  and place it on all the machines in our homes. If I ever
upgrade past Win 98 ... I enjoy using DOS ... it will be to W2K
but never to ME or XP.

Personally, I think most people are stuck with the new format.
Let's face it, of the 29 million users on AOL, (just an example)
how many of them are geeky enough to go the Linux route. I cannot
imagine learning a new operating system and I bet most on this
list share my sentiments.

Yet, as a consumer, I feel trapped by Microsoft's platforms in
every facet of my computing experience and AOL in every format of
my television viewing. I stopped watching CNN and I'm a news
junkie. I switched to FOX (no I am not a conservative either) for
some hard news and differing opinions and it's refreshing!
