They are designed to give you a real-life view of what a graduate career with PwC would be like. You'll be able to learn first hand if this is the career for you. If it is, and you perform well, you may return to your degree with *an offer of a job for when you graduate*. Beyond this, our aim is to raise both your commercial awareness and your interpersonal skills to new levels. By experiencing life inside the world's leading professional services firm, you will develop many new skills and qualities that will be valuable for your future career, whatever you choose to do. As an intern, you'll be treated in much the same way as our regular Junior Consultants and you will be expected to make a valuable contribution throughout. If that sounds too challenging, don't worry: you won't be thrown in at the deep end straightaway. We will provide coaching to help you manage your responsibilities on the assignment. *Who are the internships for?* If you are a student (however, not in your final year of study), then you have the opportunity to join us as an intern. It doesn't matter if you feel that you're not studying for a 'relevant' degree - the vast majority of our business areas accept students from any discipline. You will, however, need to show how you've used your initiative and team-working skills during university. Previous exposure to the Audit / Financial / Business areas would be a plus. Minimum experience in working with Excel is required (more advanced skills, such as using macros would be a plus).
