Data Support Engineer Responsibilities: Provides technical support for Zapp data users (customer location and/or over the phone) with various software/hardware/connectivity issues; Troubleshoots and provides recommended solutions to clients problems; Enhances, debugs and facilitates technical dialogue with clients; Interacts with Engineering and Sales team to escalate and solve customer issues; Trains users and clients on how to deal with high speed data equipment; Communicates customer feedback regarding product usability to the involved departments; Provides technical support in the creation, set up and maintenance of the testing environment platforms. Requirements: University degree - Computer Science or Technical; At least 2 years providing IT support; Basic network protocols and concepts (TCP/IP, UDP, DNS etc.); Advanced knowledge of Windows, Linux, Mac OS, dial-up connectivity, browsers, email client, scripting; PC configuration and troubleshooting; Remote access configuration and troubleshooting; Basic knowledge of data equipments (Routers, Bridges, Host Gateways, Protocol Converters); Basic knowledge of CDMA 2000/EVDO, UMTS, GPRS/EDGE; Excellent communication skills - both written and spoken; Analytical thinking and planning skills; Good command of English. NOC Engineer Responsibilities: Monitors the alarms of all Network Elements throughout the Operations and Network Management software; Performs periodical maintenance routine activities according with existing procedures; Monitors the Network Elements alarms from the Network Operation Centre consoles, identifies and replaces the faulty parts and/or informs other maintenance personnel as per the equipment type, location or complexity; Follows the special procedures in case of emergency in the MSC location; Provides shift reports to NOC Manager about all the events occurring in the network and logs them within the online Data Base; Co-operates with third party transmission service providers in case of the leased lines outages; Assists to all NOC collocated equipment installation, commissioning and acceptance; periodically supervises the non-monitored equipment parts; performs periodical charge-discharge of batteries as per the vendor specs and tests the power back-up systems functionality; Maintains a temperature-constant and a dust-free environment in the MSC room, controls and cleans periodically the equipment rooms, inspects the air-conditioning functionality. Requirements: University degree in Electronics and Telecommunications or similar; Previous working experience in mobile telephony network operations, maintenance and implementation is a plus; Excellent analytical and problem solving skills; Excellent communication and teamwork; Very good computer skills -MS Office, Linux; Good command of English; Able to work in shifts; Driving license: B category. Radio Access Network Support Engineer Responsibilities: Establishes the priority of problems and requests to meet the Inter-departmental Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements; Shares knowledge with less experienced peers or have high collegial interaction; Communicates highly technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel; Creates and maintains documentation on technical procedures within a technical Knowledge Base application; Participates at training sessions and demonstrations together with Technical Department and other Departments; Has an active role in installation and/or commissioning and/or integration, network expansion activities, SW maintenance activities, technical acceptance testing when necessary; Has an active role in basic technical support tasks, including fault diagnosis and troubleshooting; Works with performance group for enhancing the network performance as Changing Radio Parameters; Works closely with MSC Technical Support Engineer for implementing new applications in the network or for the customers in order to ensure the interoperability of all systems; Helps O&M Team in order to maintain a high quality service and security along the entire network lifetime. Requirements: University with Specialty Computers, Electronics/Telecommunication; Knowledge about Microsoft Products, Unix; Technical knowledge in Telecommunication, Networks and Protocols (including VoIP, SS7, IMS, CDMA, 3G); Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills required to serve diverse customer complaints and deal effectively with escalating issues; Familiar with CDMA, HSDPA and HSUPA parameters and functionality; Relevant experience in Telecom Technical Support or similar field preferably in a wireless environment; Good knowledge of Site integration and Trouble shooting of problems; At least 2 years experience in troubleshooting Radio Access Network; Strong knowledge of RF propagation fundamentals including the use of planning tools and model optimization; Fluency in English. Core Network Support Engineer Responsibilities: Establishes the priority of problems and requests to meet the Inter-departmental Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements; Communicates highly technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel; Creates and maintains documentation on technical procedures within a technical Knowledge Base application; Participates at training sessions and demonstrations together with Technical Department and other Departments; Helps the Marketing and Sales Teams when new products are introduced; Helps O&M Team in order to maintain a high quality service and security along the entire network lifetime; Gives technical support for the following wireless core network infrastructure: MSC, DCS, HLR, Soft Switch, Media Gateway, STP and OMC; Offers on call support when it is necessary; Performs acceptance tests when necessary; Offers on site support for site survey, installation or commissioning when necessary; Escalates issues that can not be solved at this level to the providers and make follow-up until they are solved (in the SLA); Is involved in software upgrades and correction updates to switching elements. Requirements: University with Specialty Computers, Electronics/Telecommunication; Knowledge about Microsoft Products, Unix; Technical knowledge in Telecommunication, Networks and Protocols (including VoIP, SS7, IMS, CDMA, 3G); Relevant experience in Telecom Technical Support or similar field; Fluency in English. Radio Frequency Optimization Engineer Responsibilities: Theoretical design of the radio and transmission site locations using prediction tools and maps; Acceptance (in terms of height, tilt and azimuth of antennas, antennas types, etc.) of the radio and transmission sites; Implementation of the new BTS&MW software and hardware; Configuration of the new equipment; Establishes the needs regarding test and measurement instruments; Identifies each site position and owner/administrator of it. Collecting the complementary information about site (access road, environment, power network etc). Site Area Request Form to be completed; Performs driving tests using specific equipments and analyzes the results using different analyses software; Collaborates with other departments for outage analyzing and recovering; Participates at the site commercial integration process; Acts as a mentor to Junior RF Technician by providing guidance and training. Requirements: University degree in Electronics and Telecommunications; Excellent computer skills; Knowledge of various modulation schemes; Able to work flexible hours; Eagerness to learn, self-motivated and able to work under pressure; Good planning skills; Good interpersonal skills; Relevant experience in RF Engineering preferred; Previous Cellular build-out or operational experience preferred.
