Scurta descriere:
Old software
projects are hard to change if they do not have automated tests. They make us
programmers fear that the changes we introduce might create defects. I call any
old software project without enough high quality automated test coverage as
Legacy Code. Any code base I do not really know how to change is Legacy Code.
But the
businesses need to shift towards the market changes and we as software
developers are there to help them.
So this will be a two hour
discussion about how we can be FAST as Safe with existing code.
FASTmeans:
·         Fix bugs without adding side effects
·         Add a feature without producing new bugs
·         Test System core, that part of the system that
will make your company bankrupt if fails to work properly
·         Remove Technical debt when you want to have a
faster production rhythm in the future
