Hi!

My name is Michal Schorm and I want to start poking around Fedora Infra :)

Matrix handle: @mschorm:fedora.im
FAS: mschorm

I am a Fedora packager of 9 years, maintaining MariaDB & MySQL
packages, which I also maintain in CentOS Stream and RHEL as a Red Hat
employee. I landed a number of Fedora Changes through the years, right
now I even have one system-wide for F43. You might have met me on
FLOCK 2025 in Prague.

In my free time I organize sci-fi events for youth and adults, and I
maintain a fleet of very old 64-bit laptops and other various hardware
for that purpose. I also maintain my own Fedora installation & setup
scripts for that.

I use mainly BASH and Python, but the years as a packager taught me to
try to use whatever is in reach. I have some practical sysadmin
knowledge from my free time projects, but none from the real world
outside of a bunch of friends. I'm interested in getting some, here,
though.

I definitely won't be able to commit much of my time to the Infra.
However I want to familiarize myself with it, to both be able to jump
in here and there to do trivial fixes - which I hope may free your
hands for bigger tasks - and because I believe understanding Infra
will make me more able to contribute to Fedora project discussions and
decisions in general.

I already have a number of ideas of what I want to fix or improve, but
I don't want to bother you by simply asking you to implement them, but
rather directly contribute with PRs or code for peer review, learning
in the process.

Here are my first proposal: https://pagure.io/infra-docs-fpo/pull-request/390
and a fix:
https://fedoraproject.org/w/index.php?title=Infrastructure%2FMeetings&diff=747401&oldid=669581
for Fedora Infra.
