Hi All, We are having another problem where MX lookups are failing from iMS POST. The MX lookup works fine from the cmd line nslookup tool, but iMS POST always fails when doing them.
There are a couple different types of failures. 1) The first is FQN problem that looks to be addressed in the MX From Address setting. The problem is that we are running iMS 2.5.10 and this setting is not available to us. Is there a work around for 2.5.10? Is there any other way to handle this? 2) The second I have less of an idea about. The domain that fails is [EMAIL PROTECTED] There doesn't appear to be an explicitly setup MX record for the domain (http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools/lookup.ch?name=plsny.org&type=mx ) but the mail server is there cause I can telnet into it. Does anyone who knows more about DNS than I do know what is going on with this one? Thanks for all your help! .brett ==^======================================================= This list server is Powered by iMS "The Swiss Army Knife of Mail Servers" -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This list is provided as a free service.
