Version 1.2.2 of the POST server is now available for download. This
version has the ability to send mail to non-standard SMTP ports. Simply add
a colon and the port number after the server name. You can specify a port
number in the MX parameter of the CFX_iMSMail tag (which corresponds to the
MX parameter of the control file) or in the Outgoing Servers parameter of
the POST configuration (this setting tells the POST server to always send
mail to the listed servers instead of trying to deliver the mail to the
final destination).
CFX Example:
<cfx_imsmail smtpto="[EMAIL PROTECTED]" smtpfrom="[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
mx="relayserver.hoot.com:30" ....>
If you have a mail server configuration where you need all mail to be
delivered via a server other than the iMS POST server then you would set the
Outgoing Servers parameter to something like:
mail.hoot.com:30, mail2.hoot.com:30
This would tell the POST server to try delivery to mail.hoot.com on port 30
first and then to mail2.hoot.com on port 30 second.
