Hi there,
I'm still getting strange MX lookup problems with iMS. I'm running the 1.3 release
(upgrading to 1.3c asap). I still get reports that some mail isn't delivered due to
"No MX defined for ..." problems. This seems to happen when several recipients are
specified for a message (although that's not conclusive). Only happens occasionally
though-- I haven't found any way to replicate this on demand. I've gotten reports of
"No MX defined" for the following domains just this week, all of which have valid MX
records :
VisualTransformations.com
hwi.net
colartusa.com
This is getting embarrasing for me :( I'm using the MX cache (set to 100 I believe)
and I have 2 local and one close (quick hop) DNS servers defined, all of which are
fast and have been very reliable.
Also, this probably isn't related, but I'll stick it in here anyway... Someone sent me
this informative message from iMS on Monday:

That's it. No reason stated. There IS an MX record for ginne.org.
Thanks for any insights,
-Max
