I've only ever heard of things like this on a stressed system.

Were there any errors like this in the POST or SMTP logs?  What version of
CF are you running?  Are you running a web server on the same box that has a
lot of CF activity?

I found the place in the log when it started throwing these, and there was
nothing special going on (just a few connection, as normal).
