Probably...the current iMS List server does this...

No...there is not enough time to do something like this in a timely fashion.
Maybe this could be done for v3 or maybe someone would volunteer to do this?

Well, it should be just as fast...the bulk of the speed of this list is due
to the iMS POST Server which is generally very fast...
