Hi,
It would seem that the reply-to value is not being picked up by the Data
template. The relevant bit of code would seem to be:
<cfif parameterexists(form.reply_to)>
<cfset replyto=form.reply_to>
<cfelse>
<cfset replyto=smtpfrom>
</cfif>
Given that the DATA template gets called by iMS (as I understand it)
there isn't a 'form' as such, unless iMS is somehow setting these up.
Either way I don't think it is working because the replyto value put
into the database is always the value of smtpfrom. I've looked in the
emailheaders query and the info is in there so there is a workaround...
Perhaps related to this is something I've noticed when I read the
messages in Netscape Messenger that I have sent out with a reply-to
header - the 'Reply-To' header is always displayed, ie when 'normal'
headers is selected. This is not true of other messages that I have
received from other sources; reply-to is used (if present) when I go to
reply to the message but it is only displayed when I select 'all'
headers (from View > Headers). I thought this was a little odd at the
time and now I wonder if there is something a bit amiss with reply-to
headers.
