There are several listed here for Solaris:

I know they do _not_ all have free limited licenses, but Post.Office
has a free 10-user license and runs on Solaris (scroll down to the 
Downloads section and you'll see the Solaris link):
        http://www.software.com/products/impostoffice.html

And of course there's always Sendmail (free) 
        http://www.sendmail.org/
Be sure to check out the Solaris-specific info on the site:
