Another client to mention, the International Star Registry
(www.starregistry.com) is using it for their internal email and some other
coll stuff. I implemented iMS a couple months back, and they are quite
pleased with it. They don't offer any e-mail to external users, but we
found a great little practical use.
And we are using it for order status notifications emailed to customers.
When the order is first placed a notice is sent out, when the order is in
the building phase, and when the order is complete, a notice is sent out.
This way the customer has constant feedback, and gives them positive
reassurance their order is being handled (or not).
And I'm in the middle of setting up special email customer service tracking
features. If they reply to the email, iMS intercepts the message, logs an
"incident" in the customer service system for tracking purposes, and pushes
the order to the right customer service person.
