Tokens are documented on page 119 of the iMS manual (under e-mail
customization). Basically, what you do is embed special text in your mail
within token delimiters. The default delimiters are "<" and then a colon
":" and then end marker is a colon followed by a ">". Version 1.5 of iMS
allows you to select your own delimiters.

Note that there are also predefined delimiters like "SMTPTO" which is the
address of the recipient. If you want to create your own tokens then you
would do this in the CFX tag like so:

<cfx_imsmail ... token_name="Joe Smith" ...>

And then in your mail you would have:

Dear [:name:]

Please let me know if this clears things up...

Regards,

Howie Hamlin
