Hi,
Anyone see inexplicable blank lines showing up in outgoing and incoming mail messages?
Something like this:
>X-Authentication-Warning: mail1.fcgnetworks.net: majordomo set sender to
>[EMAIL PROTECTED] using -f
>X-Sender: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
>X-Mailer: QUALCOMM Windows Eudora Version 4.3
>
>Date: Sun, 21 Jan 2001 23:53:07 -0500
>To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
>From: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
>Subject: <lingo-l> width of a standard button
>Mime-Version: 1.0
>Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"; format=flowed
>Sender: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
>Precedence: bulk
>Reply-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
>Date: Mon, 22 Jan 2001 00:22:12 -0500
Notice the blank line after X-Mailer. What happens is when the message comes in, the
email client (Eudora) doesn't show the sender, subject, or date, because the headers
are "cut off" by the blank line. It might be a Eudora problem, but I've seen this a
few times now and from various sources (not sure if all were Eudora-originated), so I
thought I'd ask if others were seeing it and perhaps iMS is inserting those blank for
some reason. It's very inconsistent when it happens, and I have not been able to
reproduce it. I've seen this while using a number of recent iMS versions.
Thanks!
-Max
